MOSA Open Standards

TSOA-ID HUNTSVILLE (January 19, 2021) is CANCELLED – REGISTER to BE ADVISED ONCE IT RETURNS

The Tri-Service Open Architecture Interoperability Demonstration (TSOA-ID Huntsville) is a unique event for the Government PMs, Tech and Branch Chiefs, and Engineers, the DoD and acquisition communities and industry influencers. Slated for Tuesday, January 19, 2021, the TSOA-ID is sponsored by Representative Commands from Branches of the United States Armed Services and supported by Alion Science & Technology and George Tech Research Institute at the Von Braun Center East Hall in Huntsville, AL

Leading Open Architecture experts open the event at 0830 followed by live demonstrations from vendors that represent Industry and Government partnership with FACE™ HOST, SOSA™, and CMOSS (VICTORY) Standards.

TSOA-ID Huntsville is designed for guests to experience and witness a greater maturity and acceptance of Open System Architecture (OSA) development. An Open System is based on a modular design, uses widely-supported and consensus-based standard for key interfaces, and verifies the openness of these interfaces.

With FACE™, as well as standards defined through HOST, SOSA™, and CMOSS, several Army, Navy and Air Force representatives will demonstrate the ease of interoperability (exchange of hardware and software modules) which allows for faster incorporation of innovation and delivery of new capabilities (or replacement technology) to alleviate being forced into changing all components in an entire system. The growing market ecosystem achievement breaks decades-long barriers created by tightly integrated systems, thus allowing new capabilities to be transitioned orders of magnitude faster than the past.
